Quick note regarding the above-mentioned build.
As seen in this video, https://youtu.be/h1vHsrPHQX8, you can chain together numerous stealth kills and executions using the reduced focus cost of the mystic set. The Nazgul Mask of the Empress amplifies the damage of each subsequent attack by 33%, achieving great synergy. The relatively high skill dependency compared to other builds makes it fun!
1) Massive stealth attack and execution damage against captains if done correctly
2) The 2ndary bonus on the dagger allows for rapid generation of wrath by chain killing grunts.
3) Undead allies are extremely resilient. Captains will effectively dodge at least 75% of incoming damage, if not more, depending on your rune load out.
1) Sieging the toughest enemy forts (can often stealth kill enemy captains, while your army is very sturdy)
2) Killing captains in free roam
Lack of elemental damage, but feel free to mix in ring and bow from outlaw set or various secondary weapon perks if this is important to you
Images work now, thanks
that is very powerful, I'll definitely try it!
Could you add a picture of the hammer/bow?
Yea here is a pic. It is probably my favorite item. Also, here is a really sweet cloak i found.
Please feel free to share your cool gear - this is a great interest to me. I lost some cool stuff due to power surge.
Here's that hammer and bow I was talking about.
A question: How much do you rely on undead grunts? If they're not an integral aspect of your build, perhaps my personal favourite combo of the Armour and Rune of Vengeance could work with your build, rather than the epic ring and Blackened arour?
The two piece set bonus is arguably one of the best in the game, for proccing the damage boosts at low health, or just generally spamming raise dead. The secondary bonus on the rune also usually fully restores your health. Not to mentiton, draining any grunt other than archers leaves them terrified, allowing you to start a wraith chain mid-combat. Just use ground drain, along with perfect counters (minus fatal counter; that is a pretty overrated move and not so great on brutal/gravewalker difficulty) or non lethal shadow strikes to knock enemies down.
But seriously, the two piece set bonus is surprisingly effective for spamming raise dead. Resurrect some grunts by using the skill twice, drain a single eney, rat or one of your own revenants for full health and then you can use the skill another two times. It's also worth using raise dead or mighty shot a couple of times to lower your health before a stealthy attack, to procc the damage boosts from the vendetta armour and rune.
I've cycled through a lot of bows/hammers and changed what I deem to be my favorite of that item a few times now. But over the last 3 months of playing I've settled on using a Mightmenber hammer for the last 3 months and rarely swap it out. Lvl 86, w/401 damage. I have a Might-infused build, providing near perpetual max Might at all times.
