The Flash and the Speed Force

Probably a stupid question but I figured I'd ask anyway. Why doesn't Barry use the power of the Speed Force to go back in time and arrest Joker before he rigs the nuke and goes after Superman? I can't imagine the end results being anything like what they were in Flashpoint Paradox.
