I have respect for Injustice 2 but it needs a few tweeks here and there as far as gameplay and situations. Because it feels too much like a scramble at times with not momentum.
When compared to the game before it in MKX, I feel 3 things or maybe 4 should be fixed, or looked at as far as balance to make Injustice 2 a lot more fluid than what it already is. This will greatly help against zoners in general.
In MKX you had decent jump ins with hit confirms into combos without a problem. Cross Ups worked most of the time even though there was a Block Button. Getting to your opponent was a cake walk because you had the Running Mechanic which sped up gameplay.
Injustice 2 even though it's a step up from Injustice 1, feels a bit lacking in those departments. Jump Ins don't connect with weird hit boxes, Cross Ups are suspect at times, and Meter Burn Roll feels like a waste when a Zoner can stuff the start up or just simply punish you on Recovery.
All I'm saying is that they should look at MKX and learn. In Injustice 2 a Cross Up, and Jump In should be more consitent especially if you made the right read. Meter Burn Roll should almost just be a Roll Mechanic without losing meter or just half of 1 meter bar. And it should also be fully invincble from start up if they continue to promoet Zoning Gameplay they it is.
Other than that Game is fun, Characters are Diverse. And I hope NRS continues to support both MKX and Injustice 2
