So after about 75 hours i'm deciding to uninstall the game, act 4: the shadow wars was clearly made to make loot boxes more attractive and i'm not buying it
The ending of act 3 was the ending of the game for me which is a shame because Talion is looking pretty badass now.
I had a good run with this game though, i liked it a lot even though there were some REALLY annoying parts that made me quit several times.
Let's talk about a few of them :)
Iron Will and Blood Brother - Probably the two biggest reasons why i had a hard time loving this game.
Here is how Blood brothers was for me, every 3rd to 5th enemy orc i revealed had a blood brother, more often than not it was with an orc on my team even though my orc previosly did NOT have a blood brother, so i could either ignore that orc like the plague or dominate him irregardless of me wanting him on the team or not, SUPER annoying and very killjoy
Iron Will - Shame'ing my favorite legendary from 44 down to 13 because he ALL OF A SUDDEN got a blood brother, that sucks, a lot.
And thats just one example, similar shame'ing "boner kills" has happened way to much because i accidentaly insta-killed a stupid captain messing with me
Both blood brothers and Iron will happens waaaaaay to often and it hampers the gameplay (in my opinion).
It made me not care about my own orcs at all (unless they were epic or above), which i feel was not the purpose of these perks.
Blood brothers should not be able to happen AFTER i dominated an orc, its fine if it happens within my own ranks though.
Shame'ing should guarantee Iron will removal, i would much rather just kill the betraying captain than bother bringing them down to lvl 1 and having to start all over
Other than the previously mentioned perks;
-Orc captains insta-killed when the walls break during a siege?!, well i guess i won't bother with siege battles then
-Friendly fire was a bit to much with certain captains, but i could just not use them and go for another captain i guess, even though that feels really counter-productive and anti..... something (but hey, friendly fire is realistic right?!)
-Warchiefs and Overlord just standing there, i understand they're defending the fort but we never get attacked unless i start the missions anyway so why can't i send them on mission to make them stronger, it's such a drag to have to make them switch places with another orc then switch them back when i'm done with them
-The dialogue from captains should be skippable, everytime i encounter an enemy captain out in the wild or in a siege (where you encounter several at the same time) it feels like forever, it gets boring
-Armorperk "25% of corpses explode" without any indication of which corpses explode and oh friendly fire, doesn't feel very though out to be honest, it was just annoying
-Invisible walls on random ledges where you should be able to jump of off
-super highlvl legendary megacaptain just standing there getting their ass handed to them by an enemy captain of lower lvl in the fighting pits, DUDE FIGHT BACK!
-Re-using 90% of the animations from the previous game, thats a bit lazy even though i really enjoy the combat in this game
There are more things that bother me but i'm done now :)
As i stated earlier, i liked the game a lot even though i feel they released the game to early
Anyways, i'll return to South Park now, take care everyone
