First of all I LOVE Mad Max. I love the job you've done with the photorealistic graphics, I love the explosions, I love the sandstorms (although ever since I crossed the Jaw and entered Pink's territory I haven't see any) and generally I love the true Mad Max feeling!
However, there are some things you might want to consider to improve it even more.
First of all you should add a difficulty option.
I've topped my character simply by clearing Jeet and Gutgash territories, without following the story. I've gained all tokens for Griffa and there's nothing more to gain. My car rarely runs out of gas, my health is reduced only if I take on a large group of war boys in a camp. I can't loose health when I hit other cars with my Magnus Opus and generally the game seems too easy.
You should also consider adding a walking option.
It's way cooler to walk in the wasteland rather than running.
Next, you should consider adding or improving the car flipping effect.
In Just Cause 2 whenever you were shooting a vehicle's tyre it started flipping, with pieces flying left and right in a spectacular way. Try doing that in Mad Max as well. It's not satisfying to shoot a tyre and see it come clean off, without damaging the car. You own the engine, Just Cause was made by you, so duplicate it.
And of course do the same for Magnus Opus as well. Make it flip, make it take more damage.
In other games when your car flipped you should get out of it and put it on an upright position. In this one it happens automatically.
I even removed this Roll helper (or however you call it ) but the effect is still pretty much the same.
After that you should add a crossbow in Max's weapons. It's a shame to have Mad Max without the signature crossbows.
Whenever I'm on Magnus Opus there's a variety of weapons (shotgun, harpoon, thunderpoons, those flamethrowing things), but when I'm on foot I only have my shotgun and my fists.
In Fury Road Buzzards had crossbows and now they use only melee weapons.
Well in Fury Road they had bikes too, doing incredible stunts, now all they have are those spikey cars (not even that truck with the excavator). And they didn't had those bright red light goggles...
And since I've mentioned those flamethrower thingies that consume fuel, maybe you should consider balancing it with the other car features (driving and nitro).
Like I said I've topped my character and now the car's gas tank remains full. Maybe you you put the nitro to consume fuel as well. Make it a little bit more challenging.
Changing the Top Dogs is also a suggestion. It's pretty boring to fight the same character, just with different colors. Put a different character each time as Top Dog, with a different way to beat with.
Finally, adding a food and water meter would be cool. Make it more like a survival game. The character should feel thirst and hunger, otherwise he will lose health. Maybe a sleeping option to regain health.
And trading with scraps is not really challenging. Make him trade with things he cannot find in the wasteland (water, food and gassoline). Like in the movies...
Anyway, I hope you take some of my suggestions into account and make Mad Max an even bigger hit. A true gem!
