Okay so I managed to pull it off, after two days of trial, and finally get the mythril augment.

However, I stand by what I said, that there needs to be a way to turn off dialogue cutscenes or give Baranor a last chance briefly after a cutscene to prevent deaths caused by loss of control of character and camera.

It took 15 attempts to get the augment. Of those 15 only 3 were legitimate deaths not caused by dialogue hiccups, and 6 of those dialogue deaths were during ambushes/cheating death during the final siege. 6 times restarting the entire DLC from the final battle on some bullshrahk.

I agree that an option to turn of dialogue would be very welcome and sometimes the timing of said dialogue can be unfortunate. Nevertheless, I think that doing Gravewalker DoM runs is very achievable. While I can't guarantee that I will make it, odds are positive. Even if they were not, some augments are insane. There's on that gives you an extra last chance as well.

What you should do - I appreciate I'm slightly late with this advise - is go around and collect the corpses (not the white ones, but the ones that have augments) so you can get a bit of a headstart. Then start killing captains. If your previous score was good, you will have a ton of money to buy bodyguards and outpost dudes.

Finish in about 1h and you'll have mithril for sure.

I scored almost a million. Some people scored much higher (3m iirc): you can check the leaderboard post on the forums. Although this particular score may no longer be possible.

You dont get last chances in Gravewalker mode, the difficulty setting eliminates it so an augment for an extra LC would be a waste of an augment slot.

You said "go around and collect the corpses", do they have specific spawn point or do they drop randomly? Augment corpses dont appear on the minimap, you just have to be lucky enough to see it while you're running past, and from what I can tell, they arent always in the same spot.

Regardless, the point wasnt that Gravewalker was unachievable. Never said that, I believe anything is achievable. It is, however, frustrating to lose any and all progress when your death isnt your own fault. Hey if I had to start over 15 times because I got sloppy that's one thing. It's something else completely when I'm killed through no fault of my own because the army I'm surrounded by is taking free swings at me while my camera is still returning to center and I havent even regained control of my character. When any death resets your entire playthrough and all it takes is a single swing to knock you from full health to kneeling at death's door (even with an additional 60% damage reduction from augments), there should be safeguards in place to prevent control delay deaths. All I'm saying. This isnt a matter of achievability, it's about fairness. Being one shot killed while you cant move and your camera is panning back to center away from an ambushing motormouth isnt death by difficulty. It's death by bullshrahk.

The first part isn't true. You do get the last chance from the augment.

I do agree that the dialogue and control thing is / can be very annoying.
