Warchief in Minas Morgul??

    I'm afraid not. Since there's no fortress assault, the option is disabled. However, this creates an annoying problem where orcs are randomly promoted to warchief, or assigned as bodyguards with the perk that has them only appear when confronting their warchief, making the player unable to interact with any of them.

    I'm still waiting on a fix for this, it's incredibly tedious when i try to draw out captains only to be unable to because they are protecting the warchiefs I cannot interact with making it in possible for me to do my farming.

    Same. Especially since I had to deploy and attack a Pretender to start producing some interesting hybrid captains, and since he's unbreakable, I can't exactly recruit and move him now, can I? tfw a Mythic Commander with Fanatic Gang, Mighty Archers, a gang of Arhcers, Cursed weapon, Enraged by Injury, No Chance, Arrow Proof etc, gets stuck as a bodyguard to a warchief and I can't interact with the bugger. He was the PERFECT candidate to replace my Gorgoroth Overlord. And now I can't have him, nor can I interact with him. He just exists outside of my reach, taunting me.

    Now that's brutal, hopefully we will see a patch for this eventually, I've been fortunately blessed with some decent overlord's for my regions not counting Akoth whom I placed as Lithlad's overlord, my Gorgoroth overlord I feel is not the most effective but I keep him there purely for sentimental reasons and the fact he harbors no weaknesses and is immune to poison and fire and enraged by curse so despite not being arrow proof or immune to execution he still seems to hold his own quite Abit, and he's my Dark tribe called Man- breaker and he looks amazing, I haven't been able to bring myself to change him despite my efforts xD

    Sounds awesome. My current favourite Overlord is actually my Mordor follower, Pash the Advisor. He's pretty similar to Skoth the Heartless, except he doesn't have no chance or enraged by Injury. He's also a beast slayer, despite being heavily damaged to beasts. His biggest weakness is to flee in terror if a bodyguard is killed, so I need to get him really tough bodyguards and until then, his frenzied followers will have to do. But seriously, don't underestimate frenzied archer grunts. It's like dodging fully automatic fire. And on top of that mighty archers makes them deal more damage and take less. Seriously, Fanatic gang, a mighty boost to a class of uruk and a corresponding gang of followers is really strong. Archers and Hunters are particularly relentless with this combo. It's quite possibly one of my favourite mixes of epic traits for a commander class. And Fanatic gang is quite possibly the best champion trait.

    I'm not having the warchief problem, as I have not yet completed act 2. I've done everything EXCEPT The Bright Lord Mission, so I am able to play around in the Nemesis system in Minas Morgul.
    HOWEVER, even with that being the case, the Nemesis system STILL behaves oddly.
    On 90% of captain kills there are Blood Brother Revenge ambushes.
    Cheat death simply Never happens, and so on.
    So I would say the Nemesis System and AI in Minas Morgul definitely needs to be looked at from all ends by the Dev's.
