help with characters

hi I bought the injustice 2 ulimate edition for x box 1 and about 11 of my characters are still locked I bought the game at gamestop so do I need a code or something to get those other characters plz if anyone can help my little boy is very upset he really wanted the turtles and i hate to have to buy them characters extra after all ready buying the game.

  You have to seperately go and find the add-ons section to be able to download whatever you're missing, thats how it works on ps4 i know and i'm pretty sure Xbox would be the same

  Thank you riddlerz I tried that but it just keeps saying I have to purchase them I sent a message to support but haven't heard back from them hopefully they will actually answer me back but I really appreciate you answering me on here and for trying to help

  Every character gets download individually during the game installation; at a certain point it lets you play while the rest is still in progress via downloading in the background!

  With the ultimate edition there should be a code sheet next to the game manual. You have to input the code in the game menu somewhere if you haven't already.

  A lot of gamers don't know how ultimate and compete editions work. It's the same disc as the vanilla copy. You just get codes for everything else.
