I believe the central basis for the nemesis system has always been built around sod's law (or Murphy's law if you will) with a healthy dose of chaos theory thrown in for good measure.

lol - you do enough of them (shaming) and it all works out to be even in the end.  Difference small enough to starve a mouse.    Also, some of those 'uber' strong looking Orcs with Strenghts's galore and Weaknesses few turn out to be pretty poor and easily defeated, and the reverse is true (to a point, lol).

, see that's the common attitude when it comes to the orcs in this game. Do enough and it all works out. But it really doesnt.

People have the mistaken belief that given enough rolls on the RNG, they'll eventually come across the same orc a second time. But the reality is that no two orcs, across any game, on any console, will ever be the same. People talk about "unique" and "rare" personalities while failing to realize that EACH AND EVERY orc personality is unique.

There may be similarities, sure. Two orcs may even have the same name, same personality framework, and even roll the exact same traits, but they arent the same orc. That's the beauty of the Nemesis system. It allows orcs to grow and evolve through experiences and interactions with the player. And no two orcs will have the exact same experiences and come out of them in the same manner.

When you lose an orc personality in Shadow of War, that individual personality is gone for good. That's why it can be so upsetting to lose certain orcs whose personalities you really enjoy, whether it be to death or loss of mental capacity through breaking their mind. This isnt about uber's or traits, it's about losing an enjoyable, developed personality that will never come back.
