It's just the way programming is for the most part. You fix one thing it breaks ten other things, lol. I'm sure they are working as fast as they can to patch the bugs they have found and know about.:smileywink:

Yeah man, like Frodo said, the world of coding and programming is extremely complex. Even small projects like creating a simple database can be frought with issues, as a single misplaced piece of code can throw the entire system out of whack. When you add something new to an existing system, you never really know just how it's going to impact how the other processes interact with eachother, sometimes it works out, sometimes it's devastating. Add that to the fact that most patches are rush jobs to appease the mindless masses of the *give it to me now* society we live in, and we get what we ask for; a job done right now rather than a job done right. ;P

Just the nature of the beast with an update that large.  Like going back to a version 1.0 release.

I'm having so much fun with the new features that I don't mind.

Before Patch:  A Legendary orc actually spawned!  Wow!  Game glitch prevents dominating him.  Curses!!

After Patch:  A Legendary orc spawned.  No big deal. Game glitch prevents dominating him.  Who cares.  Better ones ar abundant!  Online Recruitment!

The nature of this game is very complex compared to most others, primarily due to the Nemesis System.  They certainly took on a huge challenge and went imo overboard based on the number of resources/limited time they had.   Some of the bugs present in the game at launch there really were no excuse for.  The QA team should have found/flagged them and these should have been fixed prior to release.   From Day 1 people were reporting problems, and the number of patches released in support of the game tells a story all its own.  .

Whether this is due to one or a combination of inadequate manpower (primarily with Q/A), poor management, questionable executive decisions, etc who knows.    The game should have been delayed a year and released this Summer, and this current build v122 would make a worthy candidate.    Of course there remains bugs in v1.22, but it's far better/much improved sincethe initial release version of October 2018.    Keep in mind the original release date was for Summer 2017, so even then they pushed it a few months - imagine the bugs if they kept to the Summer 2017 date, lol.   .

All this being said, I certainly have gotten my $$$ worth out of it and kudos to the entire Monolith team for this free July update and continued support of what is a unique and fantastically entertaining game.  Of special note is the art design team (in every respect), sound team, script (funny!) writers, voice actors, directors, digital capture techs and devs to help bring the games vision to life.   And to Jarod, guest hosts and those behind the scenes as well who are involved in the Livestreams/Community Support

I get the problems but people in the game world should be perfectionists. No problem or glitch is too small. We as gamers want perfection and it in turn pushes the company to provide a better product for all which makes them look better
