Possible issue with the most recent patch?

    Another thing to keep in mind is that you CANNOT have IDENTICAL duplicates of the same follower in your Garrison. Sure you can have multiples of the same name and same title, but they cannot have identicle stats. For example, "Khrosh the Legend". You can have multiples of Khrosh the Legend, but not the identicle, same one, that you pulled from the identicle, same fort.

    The max is 400.  Has been that way since the DoM DLC was released.  For those who didn't purchase the DoM DLC the max may still be 300 Ie.g I don't know if that max of 400 applied to only those who purchased that DLC).    Recruiting duplicates has been problematic since the July patch, it's not something specific to the last patch (version 1.24 xbox One).  And yes I have been able to recruit IDENTICAL duplicates in every way (name/class/traits/etc) consistently for those story-based Captains (e.g. BoG's, Bruz the Chopper) and the odd non-story based Captain.    There have been exceptions though in both cases, and those exceptions appear to be completely random.  It is much more problematic (eg. extremmely rare to happen) to recruit non-story duplicates.  Out of hundreds of opportunities, I've only ever confirmed 2 that were successful (<1% success rate).   For story-based duplicates I'd say it's about 75% successful.   And by duplicates I'm referring to either:

     

    1) Non-BOG or story based Follower(s) with identical name/traits/etc currently exists in Garrisson and you recruit his duplicate(s) in a ranked siege or Vendetta.

    OR

    2) 2 Identical captains recruited in the same ranked Siege.

     

    In the first case 99% of the time he won't be found in your Garrisson post-siege.   in the 2nd case 99% of the time only 1 of those reruited will successfully return.  To compound the problem, sometimes not all Followers you reruit from ranked Siege/Vendetta will return with you even if they are unique to your Garrisson and were not killed (and subsequently raised as Undead)  during the ranked Siege/Vendetta.   

     

    This has been the case since the July update.

    Bruh I nvr had any problem since the july update only this latest update we got....Like I said for how many times I nvr had a problem recruiting a lots of orc in online and I see them in my garrison right away...yeah in vendetta online its only 1 orc u can recruit but in the online siege u can recruit 4-8 or more orcs but for some reason the latest patch messed it up for me. Now I only see 1 or 0 in my garrison every goddam time I dominate 4 or more orcs

    Yes, I completely forgot to mention you can have multiple identical duplicates of B.O.G. followers and certain story characters like Bruz for example. My mistake there.

    I'm referring to DUPLICATES only (non-BOG/story specific Followers), and these as mentioned have been problematic since the July patch release up to and including the current one.    If you are referring to 'general recruitment' (e.g. not specific to duplicate recruitment), then since the July patch (the one permitting online recruitment via ranked Sieges/Vendettas) to this latest one (v1.24.0.0 Xbox One) I've seen no difference in the numbers allowed to be recruited per ranked Siege or Vendetta.    There's no limit to the numbers who can be recruited and returned succesfully to Garrisson (duplicates and the odd non-Duplicate who doesn't return asside).  As long as you retain 399 or less Followers in Garrisson prior to carrying out your online mission you're good.   Although the 'max' has a cap of 400, if you have 399 or less befor the ranked Siege/Vendetta and recruit 16 (or whatever) enemy Captains during the mission, these are appended to your 399 score.   I've had as many as 416 in there.   

     

    With Vendettas, like rankd Sieges, all those you recruit (non-BoG/story-based duplicate Captains + the odd unique Captain asside), during the event (and who survive) will return successfully to Garrisson.    I on average recruit 5 Captains during a Vendetta (max has been 10 I think), and they (with the odd exception previously noted) all return with me post Vendetta (e.g. are in Garrisson).   This mechanic has not changed in the new patch, and I've done dozens of both since v1.24 has been rleased and hundreds before that since July.    If this is something you've experienced then send a ticket to Monolith. 

     

    What bothers me with the ranked sieges/vendettas is that most times (75%+) the items dropped are not returned with you, nor is the myriam or gems you acquire.  If the items dropped/myriam and gems aren't returned with you, then any item challenges you meet are also not acknowledged - and they revert back to 'uncomplete'.   Addtionally, 95% of the time the Captains you recruit are not identified with the 'dot' indicating 'new' Captain in Garrisson, and the 5% of the time they are, only a small percentage of them are so id'ed.

    btw- I've made tickets for each of those issues I id'ed and sent to monolith month(s) ago, but not expecting them to get fixed.  The game is getting long in the tooth now, time to move on.

    If you do not submit a ticket you are accepting the potential bug(s) as they are. Venting your frustration about while breaking community guidelines is not the best approach.
