What do you mean? It's been removed from the game, because it's still there I've come across it multiple time in the last few days or that it's disappearing from captains who have it?

my eng is bad sorry, this is google translate version.I write this text 15min :smileyembarrassed: :smileyembarrassed:

Does not remove completely from the game but weakens them, and i have 4 proofs !

After 17 july update i started new game with some strongest orcs in my garrison. After some time in sp game i conquer fortress and deploy my orcs to be warchiefs, preparing army and fortress for online conquest.
Everything is normal few days! After a while i noticed some weird things,my orc LOSING important abilities. Some important skills are taken away from him and added some less important, making him weaker. This has happened to me so many times and now i am writing this.

*After is orcs deployed from garrison they have NEVER been on a mission and NEVER shamed !
*I deploy him rightaway to be a warchief and level up to 80 with level 5 training order.

Same as with the other thread - please consider submitting a help ticket to CS. I just asked some of the team here and no one had heard of an issue with Fast Learner disappearing.

That said, I have heard of issues with godlike Slayers becoming nigh-invincible with Fast Learner so maybe one of our designers snuck that in. I don't know for sure, I've got a question in to the team on that.

Sorry for the confusion and trouble you're having. I'll let you know what I hear back.

Okay, I promised I'd come back with my findings and here they are.

Instances of Fast Learner have been decreased a bit overall, because - as has been often reported throughout the community - it's a trait that can make sometimes create nigh-unbeatable Nemeses. So it's still there but not as common as before.

But specific to your Orcs - or rather some Slayers and Assassins owned across the playersbase - there was a one-time error in adjusting the code which resulted in Fast Learner dropping off some Orcs. Not all, not even all Slayers and Assassins - but some. And apparently, some of your Orcs were among those affected.

Which we sincerely, genuinely, apologize for. That was not intended. Unfortunately, it's also not something that can be fixed. We have no way of going into a player's individual account and adding a trait to one of their Followers.

For what it's worth, I showed one of the designers in charge of those changes your post here and your orcs (really) and he's sorry. I know that may be cold comfort, but at least know your loyal Followers were acknowledged and their fate was mourned.

It was a one-time thing as I said, and shouldn't happen again.

Thanks for letting us know and for playing the game!

"Not all, not even all Slayers and Assassins - but some."

Really?  That's funny, because every Slayer I had in the Garrison before the update had Fast Learner, now none of them do.

I've just gone through all my Garrissoned Slayers.  Every single one of the 'legacy' Slayers (those found / tested / defeated / recruited / levelled up / given TO''s and finally Garrissoned < 1.22.0.0) have each LOST their Fast Learner Trait (Xbox One).    I've kept a record of every single one of these Captains, including their traits, and they've all lost that one key-important ability.    This amounts to roughly 2 dozen Slayers across the 3 Status rows (Common/Epic and Legendary).   So 24/24 of my slayers are affected, nobody made it through this 'error' unscathed - and that is across all Classes (Hunters/Defenders/Savages/Warriors).  So I'd argue that ALL of them were affected by this error, not just 'some'.    Now they are all pretty much garbaged.

This is also the first I heard of this as 'a trait that can make sometimes create nigh-unbeatable Nemeses'.   That's not true, if it was the case we wouldn't have been able to recruit them to begin with.    Please stop dumbing down even more these classes, there's few if any 'worthy' Captains around to begin with after the nerfing of Berzerkers.  THere's little to zero challenge anymore, and your continued tinkering just makes it that more worse.

I haven't even checked my Assassins yet.

And this testing shoudl all be done in a closed duplicated internal system and tested by quality personnel BEFORE implementing it / releasing to your LIVE cilents.    Q/A 101, basic stuff.  Geez.

Exactly  beowulf, these types of 'errors' are near unforgiveable to have not been caught/fixed prior to implementation.   If a dev is working on reducing the 'Fast Learner' trait, does the code changes necessary, carry out some basic testing in order to see the results, tweak it a bit if necessary, then when satisfied passes it off to the Testing department for more comprehensives tests, one of the most basic, easy and early checks is how this change affects existing Garrissoned/Deployed Slayers.      Problem would have been caught, sent back to devs for fixing, and the cycle continues (workflow process).     Whichever way you look at this, it's shoddy.    Their focus may have been on those players starting new games, not those continuing on their original save - but even that is poor excuse.   Many players Garrisson their Followers for 2nd or whatever new game start they are doing, so they will be affected (all but brand new players to the game).

Anyway it's done.   But it's just another in a long list of bugs/errors/by design faults in this game that taken together is indicative of some pretty poor communication/workflow issues /testing protocols/managment decisions/etc internally with Monolith.   Hopefully they take a lot of lessons learned from this and if they do develop another game in this genre, take their time and don't release a buggy product.
