In multiverse as you advance in the ladders, towers, whatever people call them, the opponent becomes more difficult.

There's also a difficulty bar showing you how hard the fights are going to be.

Yup, some are 3, 4 and 5 bars in difficulty, they also recommend the character level to play the ladders also..

I'm glad they made stuff harder. Reminds me of the good old days.

Same, I enoy the ladders when they increase in dificulty, gets boring when they are always easy AI opponents.

It's probably a skill thing. Scarecrow is sluggish, so I'm somewhat confused by what you mean fast. Perhaps you are only a casual player...?

There are definitely a few ladders that say AI3 but are really more like AI4.  I've noticed this especially in the sidekick ladders.  It isn't consistent, though, and I can't recall the offenders

I have also seen as someone else mentioned Scarcrow go on super-speed on rare occasions.

There also seem to be a few ladders where the AI has almost boss-level HP at level 20.  I've seen up to 2100

Then get very good gear. Also learn the match-ups, combos, combo strings, etc. It will help you a lot. Brainiac was right about one thing:

    Knowledge is power!

I don't know what you mean by casual but i play almost everyday. He moves fast. If i start an attack before him he will still complete his attack before me. Even if i perform a simple attack.

2100 is nothing. The scarecrow i mention was 3600. Although everything else was 2000. I dont know if he had super speed but he did move alot faster than i could. Like if i had to press 2 buttons he would peform a move before i pressed the second button.

I did learn and upgrade. I went back into practice. I became obsessed with trying to beat him (Yes im one of those types) But it was his speed and the fact that even tho his skills or attributes were FAR weaker than mine he could inflict alot of damage even with simple moves

I don't have issues with difficulty in offline mode at all unless they zone. Then that just angers me. If they don't zone, then I don't have that much trouble.

Scarecrow is one of the characters in this game that has very good startup frames for his normal combos. This gives him and characters like captain cold an advantage when poking at their opponent. I also have difficulty with him when a computer can somewhat predict what you are about to do but the that is when you have to learn to counter pick him. A good counter to scarecrow in my opinion is supergirl or starfire because they can keep him at bay with their lasers and supergirl has a teleport to allow for a surprise combo.

But he has a lot of unsafe strings. That's the thing. His F and B3s are unsafe and punishable. Some startup frames on some attacks are still sluggish.

I wasn't saying that is is impossible to fight him, I was just letting him know that I understand where his complaint is coming from and gave some solutions that helped me when I first experienced the issue.
