Just gonna say its a cool skin and i'm surprised but not disappointed, I look forward to using the new skins and other features in the upcoming update. I got one question though... does the ring skin (Dark Eltariel) have her own voiceline? That's one of the reasons I don't play a lot with the Eltariel skins because its just weird seeing Eltariel with Talion's voice and it honestly really bothers me. I don't expect any voicelines but  have her war cry and the grunts (although voicelines would be nice to have) other than what i just talked about... I have no further questions/requests/opinions.

Seeing as every skin uses Talions voice. I'm predicting it's going to stay Talions voice. Also if you like the Dark Eltariel skin idea then don't let me rain on your parade but imo I think the skin is incredibly lazy. Everyone wanted Talion/Celebrimbor again and instead they give us a 3rd Eltariel skin where they just made her skin paler. Again don't let me ruin it for but much like everyone else I'm a bit livid and needs outlets to rant.

Not gonna lie, I had high hopes for an Annatar skin, and I was a little disappointed when I saw Dark Eltariel. We now have THREE Eltariel skins. That's more skins than the main character has. Hardly anyone even likes Eltariel.

I'm not gonna dwell on it, though. Not that big of a deal.

Hey you guys really can't complain. I mean you get what you pay for and this update is free, so there you go.

it doesn't matter if it's free or not. It's a lazy **bleep**ing reskin. Noboday ask for it, nobody wanted it. As consumers of a product we have a right to give critique on said product. Since launch people have been wanting to get Talion/Celebrimbor back proper for end game. Had they given us at least that then nobody would be complain about Dark Eltariel.

Why use the symbol of a ring to represent dark eltariel? They had us all fooled that it was Annatar. And also if that’s a skin why not just do dark baranor as well? His cursed model already exists and that’s all her skin is so why not? I’m not mad just disappointed, I would’ve used a Annatar skin but I’m not using this one.

Jeez entitled much? it does matter if its free. Would rather pay money for this update? I didn't think so. Like I said "you get what you pay for" and you didn't pay anything for this update, the skin may not seem all high and mighty in terms of quality but its and added bonus to all the other FREE content. Most developers would have stopped supporting their games if they were as old as shadow of war and monolith has put more dedication into this game than any other developer would and you should appreciate what your getting now. If I went to a dollar store and expected as much as you did out of its products, I would be sorely disappointed. As the saying goes, and I'm going to say it again for you... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

At this point the skin shouldn't be free. Cause it shouldn't even exist at all. All they did was make her skin whiter and clothes blacker. Hell they couldn't have even bother to change out her ring for a Nazgul ring! It's so low quality that it doesn't matter if it's free or not it's just bad.

    it's ok that it's free

Neither Monolith nor Jared said that the ring skin was Annatar. Peple thought that because of the ring symbol. I thought the same.

Jared and Mike Plater explained that that skin is what if Eltariel became Nazgul or something similar.

I can promise you no fooling was intentional, I can also promise we didn't make you believe anything, all of the community had their own interpritation, and when it wasn't what they wanted they got upset, remember this DLC is absolutely free, it was our what if she gave into the ring kind of deal.

Maybe fooled was the wrong word, but you know what I meant it quickly became the most likely candidate for the skin and the symbol surrounding it. To me there was no reason not to reveal that skin first and Sauron skin has been asked for since day 1 and even probably back in the SoM days so it’s fair to say that we were kind of expecting it on some level. I’m not mad or anything and I’m not trying to say they took advantage of me so don’t get it twisted but it seems like a bad move to hide that skin like it was some crazy requested thing and to reveal on the last stream before the update, should’ve been celebrimbor instead. I just don’t understand why they teased at it and kept it for last, best for last no? Not here’s this things maybe 1000 people wanted for last. It’s cool and all but not my cup of tea and clearly many others feel the same way seeing the response they got from it. I felt bad for them on stream when I saw their reactions to everyone else’s reactions honestly I wasn’t in the chat being so harsh but I felt bamboozled they used a ring for the skin and kept it hidden for the last reveal stream. I’m satisfied with everything in this update though, believe me.

All I gotta say is that if she gets the skin like that from an appearance she already takes in her dlc than so should baranor...

No worries, maybe I should've been more clear, the ring symbol has everything to do with her new skin, the thought process behind it was, what would have happened if she gave into the ring. Hence the ring symbol, we understand it is not everyones cup of tea, but at the same time, we did it as a reveal and add on to our list of updates in this new patch. Users assumed it was something it wasn't and naturally became upset when it wasn't what they wanted, but at the same time, the community is getting the skin for free, it's not like anyone paid a single thing for it, I think the backlash was a bit harsh.

On the contrary, some have asked for the skin, and some wanted it, I understand your frustration, I also understand members wanted a different skin. But no need to slander those that did want it, I can promise you, it has been asked for directly, We thought the idea behind it, what if she fell to the power of the ring was also a fun scenario. It is your "right" to complain but to come on our forums and say that not a single person wanted or asked for the skin is a flat out lie, and there is no need for that here.

I sympathize with you. Ill just run around as GREENIBRIMBOR though with nazgul powers to makeup for this, though. But I am just as underwhelmed as the majority, lol.

One thread per subject please, don't need three all discussing the same thing so I've merged them together. I can see people want to talk about this but again we don't need everyone starting their own thread on the subject.
