Should I resart a new game?

I've deleted my save file and started again but as of yet I'm still on act 1 so I can't really judge too much but it's a new experience going back and playing at a low level, not having all the abilities etc, plus the first time round having the market was a bit of a safety net where you could lump some mirian and find 3 or 4 great orcs without even trying, having to use the nemesis system to it's fullest and sorting the strong from the weak is going to be a very different experience this time around, especially because I emptied my garrison to a fairly low level of a lot of the rubbish that was in there and keeping only my favourites.

In the end it's going to be up to you but it is something that is very much worth considering.

And if you do restart, I would bring over a new nemesis and follower from SOM.

Good Idea. Didn't even think about that.

That is a very good point and something I have done.

In all seriousness I intend to restart myself later. I have several main reasons for this:

    - I like this game a lot and I kill so many orcs, I'm confident I'll finish again.
    - I have wanted to restart anyway but always dreaded the grind. Now, my gear will never be end-end-game gear anyway.
    - The game will be much less grindy. Upgrading gear, re-rolling secondary bonus, brutal mode and more xp per nemesis mission all mean that the game should be far less grindy.
    - I am most definitely not going to restart if I wait until I grind like a 100 extra skill points.
    - I have always wanted to replay the story but I am uninterested to replay it through the quest menu, as well as that some quests cannot be replayed.

Well, there are a lot of improvements , like peroformance, nemesis system upgrades and new stuff, less tedious shadow wars, more fun and more narrative and some new cool gear, , and if you liked it the first time you will like it even more now.

I plan to start again soon

Another good reason to restart in general is if you miss the original elven wraith version you can play the game for as long as you want with that version if you just don't start Shadow Wars, that can be the game state forever as long as you arn't bothered about the ending or getting the nazgul masks.

Yes, and it should be easier to level up without getting to that stage, although I don't know if enemies will spawn at a high level. They probably will in Lithlad. Nemesis XP has been increased so you don't need the fort assaults to level up. Level 80 Celembrimbor here I come!

Just restarted last night on Brutal, and yeah, I've died like 4 times already.  Forgot how trying the early game is without any upgrades.

I just deleted my save. It feels so weird.

I have a lot of good legendaries in my garrisson now though. I look forward to restarting. :D
*glooms over multiple save slots anyway*

If you are anything like me you'll spend the first hour trying to use attacks and move you don't have unlocked yet, lost count of the amount of times I pressed the button for the throwing knives only to sit there looking at the screen like an idiot wandering why nothing was happening.

You're probably not gonna believe this, but I had the very same rune, and it got the very same secondary perk after I rerolled it.

What is cool about it? Anything? I put in a few hundred hours in SOM Game of the Year Edition on the original Xbox One. I factory reset it before I bought the One X. So it is not installed on my One X. This sucks! I feel like I'm missing out!!

It's just really cool to see what a captain ends up looking like and what tribe/class he's in when you import him from the first game. And it's also a good way to get powerful followers, since most captains in SOM have a ton of immunities at level 20.

Check out this Destroyer I imported.

Sorry for the links. I'm on the mobile version right now, so I can't really post pictures

I've not been trying to use abilities that I don't have although sometimes I forget I don't have ceaseless might and then I just stand there like an idiot.

Also, I tend to forget my focus runs out superquick now and it's gotten me killed twice.
I have to say I used some conquest level 60 chests and the gear is making me quite strong. I consider restarting when I get my nemesis and follower, because why not. Also, if I can get my hands on my physical copy of SoM I can change to a new nemesis. I think my secondary playthrough there had a cool nemesis, although he's not nearly as good as my handcrafted ones from my primary.

Also, I thought it would be pretty cool to get my follower 3 times so he can be his bodyguards.
